Hello...

I'm Hannah. I have been a birth and postnatal Doula since 2018.

I am based in West Yorkshire alongside my husband, two children and dog.

I love my friends, wild dungarees, hand knitted goods, charity shops, and singing songs, loudly!

I trained as a Doula through Red Tent Doulas as a result of the pregnancy and birth of my first baby. I had a very positive pregnancy but found it difficult to find people who felt the same about birth. I knew there had to be a way of supporting women and birthing people through this journey the way I needed. Through intrinsic belief in mothers bodies and the power of choice, encouraging instinct and finding power in evidenced based research. I now carry this ethos with me whilst walking my clients' journeys with them.

I have had the privilege of supporting families in a wide range of births, including Home births, Free births (unassisted), Midwifery Led Units, Labor Wards, C-sections and inductions.

The transition through pregnancy into parenthood is huge and unknown. My role is to make that transition as easy and as gentle for you as possible.

It is imperative that women and birthing people feel in control of their births, know their options and can effectively communicate their choices in their chosen birthing environment.

Hello...

I love my friends, my plants, penny pushers, wild dungarees, hand knitted goods, lurking on Rightmove, charity shops, cheese cake, musicals and singing songs, loudly!

I am also passionate about birth rights, knowing them and making sure they (and you) are listened to and respected.
